Villa Ave del Paraíso is an intimate six-bedroom bed & breakfast nestled just a leisurely three-minute stroll from the sun-kissed shores and surfing haven of Playa Avellanas. Our guest rooms are arranged in a U-shape surrounding our tranquil outdoor pool, complemented by inviting wooden lounge chairs and swaying hammocks to bask in the warmth of the Guanacaste sun.
At Villa Ave del Paraíso, we offer more than just a place to rest your head. For those seeking mindfulness and inner tranquility, our thatched yoga palapa beckons as the perfect sanctuary for your yoga practice. Our communal living room and kitchen area provide a welcoming space for forging connections with fellow travellers, or simply unwinding with a captivating book or a movie on our large TV. You'll find our fully-equipped kitchen stocked with everything you need to prepare your own lunch and dinners, as we help kickstart your days with a complimentary, hearty vegetarian breakfast.
Meet your Hosts
Kyna, Mowgli, & Elmer
Kyna is a California native with a background working in luxury hotels in California and New York. After travelling to over 60 countries, she landed in Costa Rica and opened Villa Ave del Paraíso with the goal of blending the comforts and cleanliness of a luxury accommodation with the warm, social and communal living experience she loved from her backpacking days.
Mowgli is our security officer who greets all of our guests and reports any suspicious noises and behaviours at night. He also spearheads our kitchen clean up, making sure no food ever goes to waste on his watch!
Elmer hails from Paraíso, Costa Rica and is our Chief Adventure Officer! When not helping out with daily operations at Villa Ave del Paraíso, he leads our guests on adventures exploring the natural beauty of our area or teaching them how to catch waves.
